Popular singer MISIA(23) has moved from BMG Alista Japan to AVEX. Using the company's distribution network she will be working under her new label [Rhythmedia Tribe]. Until next March her 1st single, after moving to AVEX, will be out.

One of the top female singers have switched companies. MISIA had her talent recognized in 1997 in an audition, in 1998 she debuted with "Tsutsumikomu youni..." under Alista Japan. Now her management office started a new label, Rhythmedia Tribe, and signed with one of the top Japanese record company AVEX, who has a network of music shops all over the country.

By the contract AVEX distribution will be encharged of the selling of the CDs and the profit will be spilt between Rhythmedia and AVEX.

AVEX announced to the stock holders and the people related the contract on the 18th of this month. In the announcement was the plan to release one single till the next March. In the same label there is another female singer, Calyn, but there were no plans of her releases.

MISIA was the pioneer of the "Japanese R&B Boom" which includes Utada Hikaru(18), Hirai Ken(29) and CHEMISTRY. Last year her song [Everything] was used as Fuji TV drama [Yamato nadeshiko] theme song and sold more than 2 million copies. Also her album [MARVELOUS], released this year, has sold more than 2.5 million copies, which makes her one of the top sellers in Japan. So the expectatives from AVEX must be high.

Also AVEX has taken ex-SPEED members under her wings, hiro(17), Imai Eriko(18), Uehara Takako(18) and Hitoe(20) have announced their move from Toy's Factory to AVEX's SONIC GROOVE label. hiro will be releasing her new single [Confession] on the 21st of November, Uehara and Imai plan to release one single till next March.

In August she left the label "Real Eyes" where she was since her debut. Afterwards, on the 08/22, she released a single [flow] and now her 2nd work will be out.

On hte 5th of December she will be releasing a new single, the title is still uncertain, but bird will be writting the lyrics and the song will be composed by MONDAY Michiru. [flow] was composed together with the guitarrist Tanaka Yoshihito, who performed together during her tour, and was a song with a simple melody. Now let's see how will this partnership with MONDAY Michiru will result. MONDAY Michiru has already worked on some vocal arranges and composed some songs for bird.

Also she will be starting to write a collum on the magazine [Barfout!].
