R Pad Modding
By: M1Nepic

this section of the site will explain about DDR pad modding and how to mod your own pad for better results.

Modding a soft pad fixes 2 problems: the bunching up of the pad while you are dancing and preventing the pad from movin around There are many ways to mod your pad and all of them are similar where they involve taking a huge piece of wood and attaching it to your pad padding is very good to improve your dancing

I modded my pad similar to the design found at
http://clickass.org/~tgz/pyddr/hardmat/ this is a very good way to mod your pad just use his instructions to create a nice pad i had a lot of stuf in my garage so i only needed to buy the foam which cost me about $6 what you really have to remember to do is to level the padding when you are taping your foam and make sure the wood in the center is not sharp so you dont hit your foot that hurts you can buy all your materials at lowes or home depot
