I modded my pad similar to the design found at http://clickass.org/~tgz/pyddr/hardmat/ this is a very good way to mod your pad just use his instructions to create a nice pad i had a lot of stuf in my garage so i only needed to buy the foam which cost me about $6 what you really have to remember to do is to level the padding when you are taping your foam and make sure the wood in the center is not sharp so you dont hit your foot that hurts you can buy all your materials at lowes or home depot
