both my parents are from taiwan. they came over to go to grad school together at umich. my dad's from tainan (southern taiwan) i don't know my dad's side very well, other than the fact that he has 5 older sisters and 5 older brothers, making him the youngest of 11. i also know one of his brothers is in berkley, cali. and i remember visiting one of them in taiwan where they manufactured red bean paste. good stuff =P

mommy grew up in taipei, or just outside it. i know basically everyone on my mom's side, and they're usually the ones we visit when we go to taiwan. she has 7 sisters and she's #3. we go by numbers. haha #1 lives in taiwan and has 2 kids. these kids are at cali in college now. #2 lives in los alamos, nevada and her son goes to uc... um berkley? #3... we live in cinci and... okay. #4 lives in taiwan and has a son, older than me. #5 lives in grand rapids, michigan... they moved there cuz we lived there. theresa's 13 and walter's 10? #6 lives in victoria, canada. her son's going to some design college. #7 lives in taiwan and she has a little daughter, probably around 7 now? #8 is still in school at michigan state univ... she's been there forever.
