Gambler's Fallacy

I am a degenerate gambler. I've never had a proper bankroll of 500 big bets or 25-30 buy ins for the NL games. One buy-in was all I ever wanted. One buy-in was all I ever wanted. Let it ride. My belief was that if you play absolutely perfect, with the exception of the inevitable cooler, you'd never lose.

Three years later, I the results tell me otherwise. Variance is inevitable. It is something that is just accepted. You keep playing, making the absolute best/optimal decisions possible. The results will speak for themselves.

Three years later, my two idols, notorious gamblers themselves, Phil Ivey and Daniel Negreanu are broke. Patrick Antonious and Brian Townsend are making millions. This is not to validate one school while vindicating the other. But, you gotta give credit where credit is due.

My plan is a 20-25 buy in NL plan. $2500. Dedicated solely for the purpose of playing .5/1 NL games. Move up once I read 25 buy ins for 1/2 = $2500. Move down to .25/.50 NL if I get down to $1500. It's going to be hard to remove my ego/pride to play properly, but this is the only way to go.
