The Goblet Of Fire Movie

Here is the information I know about the next Harry Potter movie:

Director: Mike Newell [Four Weddings And A Funeral, Mona Lisa Smile]

Producer: David Heyman

Screenwriter: Steven Kloves

Who Will Be Back: The whole cast is basically back for this movie, Emma, apparantly, being the last to sign her contract.

Release Date: Hopefully by November 18, 2005

Cutting Out: Unfortunately, the Dursleys will be cut out from the fourth movie. The movie will possibly start from the Burrow, with the Weasleys going to the World Quidditch Cup.

Movie Length: The rumour that it will be split into 2 movies is cancelled out. The other rumour that it will be four hours long with an intermission is also false. Mike Newell has been asked try to make it in 2 hours and a half. [Personally, I wouldn't mind if they made it in 3 hours long.]

Budget: $130 million!!!!

New Cast:There's going to be heaps of new people in this one.

After months of speculation, it has been decided that Katie Leung will play Cho Chang. She's new to acting, and she's sixteen years old. Her father owns a restaurant. Her background is Hong Kong. There aren't many photos of her yet.

With the rumour going around that Kate Winslet was going to snag this role, it ended up going to this young next-big-thing French actress. Her name is Clemence Poesy and she's 21 years old. She got into acting because her father's a theatre director and actor. Clemence has starred in a miniseries as Queen Mary [she had fun filming it and was thrilled to get that role], 2 French films and a lot of tv/stage appearences.

Yep, this is the guy who's playing Cedric Diggory. His name is Robert Pattinson and he's done quite a lot of theatre appearences. He's a talented musician who can play the electric guitar and the keyboard, and does football, skiing, athletics and snowboarding. [Sounds like Cedric]. He's 6 foot and I heard that he's starring in an upcoming movie with Reese Witherspoon called Vanity Fair.

Brendan Gleeson will be playing the role of Mad-Eye Moody. He decided to quit teaching and become an actor when he was 34. Since then he has been in numerous films such as Braveheart, Lake Placid, Mission Impossible 2, Tailor Of Panama, Gangs Of New York and A.I. Artificial Intelligence. His most memorable role was The General in which he won the Boston Society of Film Critics Award.

Other new cast include:
Predrag Bjelac - Igor Karkaroff
Frances De La Tour - Madam Maxime
Ralph Fiennes - Lord Voldemort
Stanislav Ianevski - Viktor Krum
Roger Lloyd-Pack - Barty Crouch
Jeff Rawle - Amos Diggory
Miranda Richardson - Rita Skeeter
David Tennant - Barty Crouch Jr.
