Let's talk about Hobbies!!
Hi! My name is Jan. I am a retired homemaker. I ws born in Redondo Beach,CA. Raised in Southern NJ(the best!), I have been a resident of Arizona for the past 19 years.
I enjoy numerous hobbies, including arts and crafts. My husband Les enjoys pool and is an amateur photographer. The two of us are on to a new hobby....Quads! I can't believe I'm doing this!  Oh, well...Never too late, huh? lol
Our Family News.... Featured Tip:
We have five children and seven grand children. They are located in New Jersey and San Diego.  I will  add a page of our family as soon as I find the time or make it, which ever comes first..

Les and I  have been residents of Arizona since 1984.

On March 7th of this year, My husband Les and I purchased a twenty-plus year-old home in Globe, AZ.  We loved the home, especially it's' location, but  we knew that it needed lots of TLC.

We have been spending most of our time either painting, moving walls, landscaping and what ever it takes, to make this house our "special place."

I've just completed a 3x6 foot  mural in our family room. I will soon be doing a seascape in the guest room.

We are tired, but very happy!
Don't be afraid to try anything at all. Once you start, your creativity will come alive and you may even surprise yourself!

I was commissioned to paint this mural by Les and here it is..."Behind the 8-Ball", my original pool dog mural! My patience and whatever talent I have  were really tested, throughout the long days. It was a labor of love...my gift to my husband.

The two dogs on the left are my "Sara Joy" and "The Bear."  Bear is in Doggie Heaven now, but now I can see him every day. He was my buddy, friend and protector for over twelve years.

"Sara" is my joy these days....Her name was chosen well.
