IS300 vs. RSX-S
Who would win between this 35K+ Lexus and the Acura RSX-S
Now lets not get into who would win..because I will explain next and later that the  RSX might. This next section serves to clarify that Horsepower to Weight ratio serves a key importance in determining a car's speed esp. in 0-60.
Sorry...56K loaders.. this IS300 loooks too good to make smaller.

What is HP to weight ratio? That ratio is how many pounds your car is... per each horsepower your car has.  If your car weights 1000 pounds and you have 50 horsepower.  Your Hp to weight ratio will be 20 pounds per HP expressed in pounds/HP because you take weight of car divided by how many HP you've got.
What does it mean if I have a higher ratio, such as 20 pounds/HP? This means that your car is pretty damn slow in the 0-60.  This is calculated w/o factors as weather, tires, weight of person before and after taking a fat shit, and torque.
But doesn't torque determine how fast your car goes too? Yea no shit... but even w/o torque calculations, the numbers are still very correct.  such as the RSX-S and our Acura Legend which has been tested.
Why does the RSX look so ugly to so many people? WTF do you think this is...20 questions?
If you take a look at these numbers, the longer it takes a car to do 0-60.. the more weight per HP the car carries.  So if you take the fucking IS300 that Nick always brags about.. it does 0-60 in 6.8 sec.  Very fast for a heavy sedan.. however it has 15.2 pounds per HP.  This means if you take 3270 pds/weight of car divide that by 215 HP..you will get 15.2.
Now look at the RSX-S.  Gets the job done in 6.2 sec. Lower than the IS300.. well guess what? Its HP to weight ratio is also lower.
Now Nick is probably saying.. TORQUE YOU DUMBFUCK!  well lets take a look at the BMW and the Merc. Mystique.  We all know the Merc is a shitty car. But take a look at the fast numbers.  The BMW has a whole pound more per HP but is only .3 sec slower.  That is nothing considering we did not factor in many factors like Torque.  The reason the BMW was only .3 sec slower was PROBABLY due to its torque (10 more) and the engine design.

So what about the IS300? Well in the same example.. the IS300 carries 2 pounds more per HP than the RSX-S.  Yet it is only .6 sec slower.  Again .6sec can easily be turned into .nothing sec, because there are so many factors to be considered like driver skill, and shit.  So since the times are sooo close, even with 2 pounds more per HP.. the Lexus HAS MORE torque so its still a very close race.
This concludes that the RSX-S should pull slightly ahead of the IS300AUTO.  There will be more facts added later.  As for now the whole point was about the whole hp/weight thingy.
