| This is the pond's first year and so far it's done wonderfully. It's about 700 gallons and has two waterfalls, many plants including the dwarf lilie pictured here as well as arrowhead, floaters and hydrangea. We are in the process of building another pond in the backyard, that one is still in the planning stages. Some of the problems we've experienced with this pond are excess algae and tannins in the water due to leaves from the trees near by. In it's first year we have had several spawns with approximately 4 young who have survived. |

| It's spring time now and Billy just cleaned the pond! See below what it looks like now. What a difference. We lost Lestat so sad, such a pretty fish, but it appears that 14 have survived. All of the plants surrounding the pond are doing extremely well. The aquatics however, did not fair too even though they were in the greenhouse.
