Procedure
After MMC is run form the console, a screen appears and we want to configure the local machine’s logging facilities, so we expand the Local Policy folder and see the following variety of settings that be configured:
Results
As the output shows us, we are auditing the successful and unsuccessful logon attempts to the local machine:
