After running this tool on the system, we received several reports: The User Password Report – which lists the usernames, how the age of the passwords and when they expire, the Services Report – which lists the different applications/services on the system and their status, and the Summary Report – which is a compliance validation report and lists the security requirements, our “score”, and a detailed section on our status on each security requirement. Our overall score was 36.875 with 132 items failing and 67 passing. Oh no!!!!
Another aspect of the CSI tool was that it offered security templates so that we can use those templates to apply the settings to every aspect instead of individually.
