"Oh, Great Spirit, whose voice I hear in the wind,
Whose breath gives life to all the world.
Hear me; I need your strength and wisdom.
Let me walk in beauty, and make my eyes ever
behold the red and purple sunset.
Make my hands respect the things you have made
and my ears sharp to hear your voice.
Make me wise so that I may understand
the things you have taught my people.
Help me to remain calm and strong in the
face of all that comes towards me.
Let me learn the lessons you have hidden
in every leaf and rock.
Help me seek pure thoughts and act with the
intention of helping others.
Help me find compassion without empathy
overwhelming me.
I seek strength, not to be greater than my brother,
but to fight my greatest enemy - Myself.
Make me always ready to come to you with clean hands
and straight eyes.
So when life fades, as the fading sunset,
my spirit may come to you without shame.

You Live Forever In My Heart
I'm stumbling through life trying to stay busy,
While my thoughts keep wandering back to you.
So many things we shared through the years,
How lucky we are for having known you!
We've shared struggles and dealt with pain,
Dared to dream and laughed at reality each day.
Now I'm searching for an explanation I can believe,
It just doesn't seem right that you were called away.
You taught us to put things in perspective,
To enjoy today and leave hurts from yesterday behind.
You reminded us that life is full of powerful storms,
But they leave fresh air and sunshine for us to find.
You told us to watch the lightening and appreciate it,
So we opened our eyes to what we thought we should fear.
You encouraged us all and you touched our hearts,
In our hearts, you will always be right here.
Your body grew tired while your spirit grew stronger,
Then your time came to take your place among the stars.
You're a guardian of the universe now, my friend,
Soaring on wings, dancing around Mars.
We will miss you and remember you,
