After high school, Josh went to Texas University on a wrestling scholarship
and shattered every school and NCAA record with an undefeated college career
and four national championships (the only four in Texas school history).
After graduating with a business management degree, Josh attempted to create
an entertainment studio, but could not get much interest in any of his
projects. After his brother entered the XWL, he soon closed shop and
entered the world of professional wrestling where he won three championships
(including two world titles) in his first month in the sport, holding all
three at the same time. He went on to have a third world title reign along
with winning the tag team titles twice with his brother Michael.
His time with XWL was always off and on due to conflicts with ownership and
a severe shoulder injury. Josh spent a very short time in the now defunct
ECC before retiring after his wife and daughter left him. With a newly
found passion for the sport, Josh Stevens has come to the AWA with his
sights set on restoring tradition and honor to the sport of wrestling. AWA
beware.
