Scribing the Circle

Celebrant: As did our forefathers of old,
draw in the ground a ring so bold,
so we, astounding, now scribe well
this Circle with a holy spell.
Proclaim we that this space be freed
by fire, roaring winds and sea,
by yew and oak and strong thorn tree,
by strong names of the Sacred Three,
that it contain true Wisdom's key.
And as we pray, so mote it be!
