The Avalonian Catholic Church Presents the Avalon Rising Celebrations Schedule

Our Tentative Plans:

Barring unforseen calamity, we plan to "take the show on the road" in several stages.

First, we'll do a few test runs in the Quad Cities, Des Moines, Iowa and Chicago, Illinois. If the reasonable success we project actually materializes, we'll then hit as many major metro areas in 2002 as we can. We would put the Bay Area of California and the Ozarks region at the top of the list, as we have members there, and Atlanta, Georgia, as we have a good contact person there.

At each site, we're currently working to include the following:

Friday Night

7:00-8:00 PM Low Vespers and Unction for the sick

Saturday Morning

10:00 AM Class

Saturday Afternoon

1:00 PM Lecture at a local college or university on the early history of the Celtic Church
2:30-? PM music albums & publications signing by the bishop

Saturday Night

7:00-8:00 PM Solemn Vespers & Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament

Sunday Morning

9:10 AM Star of the Sea Rosary
10:00 AM The Avalonian Mass
11:30 AM Unction for the sick of body, mind and spirit

Sunday Afternoon

Inquirers' Meeting (after Unction and potluck lunch?)

Sunday Night

7:00-8:00 PM Treasure of Avalon show or music concert
