Organizers of the Jersey Shore Autocross League


    The Wing and Bonnet Car Club, Inc. is a non-profit corporation dedicated to the promotion of safe driving and competitive autosport events for the general public in the central New Jersey area. Throughout the year we hold autocrosses and road rallies that anyone can attend and compete in. Our autocross program is very laid back, family friendly, and most importantly, novice oriented. Professional driving instruction is always available at our autocrosses.


Autocross program:
        Come out to test your car handling abilities in a safe, controlled environment. Instructors are always available for consultation and ride-alongs. Points are accumulated throughout the season for year-end series awards!
Location - Lot 6 of Brookdale Community College, Lincroft, New Jersey
Times - Arrival time, registration, and tech inspection begin at 9:00am, first car off at 10:30am (hopefully)
8 runs - 4 runs during the morning heat, break for lunch, 4 runs during the afternoon heat (hopefully not literally)
Guided novice specific walk-throughs - our program is extremely novice friendly
Parade lap - all attendees are encouraged to participate in this slow, in-car lap of the course
Classing system - These classes are very broad, to encompass a wide variety of cars
        Engine capacity - 2 liters and over -or- Under 2 liters
        Chassis preparedness - Stock, Prepared, Modified, or Open wheel, Confused?
Cost - $30, $25 WBCC/league members

Road Rally program:
        Our road rallies are held sporadically throughout the year. They are Time/Speed/Distance rallies that require team work between the driver and co-driver (aka: navagator). Winding through the near-by region, these rallies test the teams ability to ...

Club meetings:
        Held every first and third Tuesday of the month at Charlie Browns (Grist Mill) restaurant in Tinton Falls, NJ at 8:30pm. Members and non-members alike are encouraged to use the club meetings to voice their opinions, wishes, concerns, and also to share ideas, thoughts for the future, compliments (!) or whathaveyou. It's a dine and chat affair.
