Policy_Membership_Subsidy – APPROVED AUGUST 26, 2007

 

 

 

  1. The purpose of this policy is to assist those families in our chapter area who are financially unable to pay the cost of full chapter membership in Autism Ontario.
  2. The chapter will pay 50% ($25.) of the full chapter membership costs, provided:
  1. the applicant pays the other 50% ($25.) at time of application, and
  2. has provided or pledges to provide 3 hours of volunteer activity to the chapter.
  1. Applicants will be provided with a suggested list of volunteer activities that they can choose from. Chosen activity must be approved by Chapter President or designate.
  2. Volunteer activity must be completed within 3 months of membership acceptance. Volunteer activity 6 months prior to application meets eligibility requirement.
  3. The Chapter Membership Subsidy Policy is exclusive of the Chapter’s Workshop Funding Policy.
