The Buchan caves and Murrindal caves are located in east Gippsland about 400km from Melbourne. The Buchan caves reserve is located just outside the picturesque town of Buchan. The Murrindal caves are situated 14km north of Buchan next to the sealed Gelantipy Road.

The Royal and Fairy caves are toured at regular intervals between 10am and 3.30 PM every day of the year except Christmas day. Shades of death cave are opened during school holiday, long weekends and Easter. In the off season tours can be made for groups by prior arrangements. It's tours run continuously from 10am until 4pm.

Bookings are not taken for tours of the show caves although notification of large numbers is appreciated.
