B72 has two entrances located on the northern side of the doline containing B71. The cave is best entered by the
northern most entrance located at the base of a large boulder. Inside the entrance is a squeeze opening onto a ledge where
a series of short climbs down leads to a rubble floor. To the right the boulder choked rift terminates in a small chamber
with a rubble floor. The low crawl straight ahead is the way on. Beyond the crawl the passage opens out where the
daylight hole of the second entrance is found. Next is a 2.5m climb down followed by a 2.3m climb. The next climb is
awkward and a ladder is recommended. The ladder can be anchored to a large boulder at the top of the climb or from
boulders in the large chamber above. The passage then widens, it's rubble floor leading to the final pitch.
A ladder is also recommended for the final pitch of 6m with a column of rock providing a good anchor point
The pitch can be avoided by keeping In the righl hand wall and following the ledge ever a large boulder so a series of
short climbs down to the chamber below. This route however is very exposed and slippery and not recommended.
The terminal chamber is large with an uneven floor that is essentially a mud-covered boulder pile with passages
leading through it. Some join but terminate after several metres in a mud choke, nevetheless they provide numerous
potential digs. An intermitten stream rulers she chamber from she north-easten corner and flows towards the centre
(south) of the chamber where is sinks into boulders. The old stream course flowed Inwards the western wall.
