The 100mw a 100mm steel bar at the entrance can he used as the main tape/ladder attachment point. A backup ballard is provided at the south of the entrance. The 8.6m diameter, concrete entrance deeps into a rift which is the first pitch of 6m. At the top of the pitch is a chamber 1.5m high, 3m wide and 6.8m long.

The first pitch leads to a ledge, 1m wide and 7m long with a soil and leaf littered floor. The second pitch of 13m leads to another smaller ledge and a further 10m pitch. The way on is up the floor canyon to Middle Aven. The law crawl at the bottom of the pitch leads to 3m of low bread passage which then drops 3m into a floor canyon and continues fee a further 6w. Giving way to a low passage which is silted up after lOw. This passage was previously known to continue further (Ellis er. al. 1972).
