Who We Are:

We are a club for all levels of skiing, including Slalom, Trick, Jump, and Wakeboard.

The team comprises the best five males and females in Slalom, Trick, and Jump. National participants are: Ryan Bailey, Andrew Bax, Joe Bridges, Josh Nichols, Brandon O’Connnor, Jay Sewell, Tony Sorace, Taylor Wesson, Lindsey Bax, Shelbie Gerken, Tiffany King, and Becky Kohr.

What We Do:

Our team competes in tournaments throughout the South, recently winning third place at Nationals in Division II. Several team members placed in this competition, with Auburn’s men placing first overall in the Division.

Auburn men also placed first in Jump with Andrew Bax winning first place with 130 feet, Josh Nichols in third with 108 feet, and Ryan Bailey tying for fourth with 102 feet. The men’s team also placed first in Trick and fourth in Slalom.

Lindsey Bax represented AU women, coming in fourth place overall.

When/Where We Meet:

We meet every Monday night in Foy Student Union @ 8:30 pm. Check at the front desk for the room number.

We ski almost daily on local area lakes (primarily Faith Lake in Shorter, Alabama) close to the Auburn University campus. Group trips are planned - at Spring Break we go to West Palm Beach!

Members:

Membership in the AU Ski Club includes USAWS membership.
