North Fort Artillery Museum, North Head Sydney

Sunday Aug 6 2006 saw AGWA NSW members with some assistance from AGWA ACT at the unveiling of the new Lone Pine Memorial at the North Fort Artillery Museum. We provided gun crew to man an original 18pdr Mk2 field gun as well as an honour guard at the new memorial. The weather had been bad all week and we were expecting to get wet on the day but the clouds rolled back, rain stopped and the sun came out for the entire day.
