This Autumn Championship is organised by orientiering club "Alnis"
from Jelgava, Latvia

The competition will take place on Sunday, October 31,
near the village Augstkalne at the Latvia - Lithuania border

Competition area. Regular road and path system. Relief with articulated medium and large forms, forest - mainly mixed stands - spruces, pines, oaks, maples, alders and osiery in the lower places. Passability from good to medium, but it's possible to find some non-passable places too. Many clearcutted areas with nonforecasting passability.

Punching at the controls will be organized in classic style, using paper punching card and punchers.

The Map is surveyed during 2001-2004. Map scale 1:10 000, H - 5 m.
The local signs: brown cross - anthill; green cross - tree root; green circle - single tree.

Start groups and distances: some usual groups are combined becouse of forecasted small number of participants in the youngest and the oldest groups

Payment on registration at the competition place untill 11:30

Start at 12:30, maps on start, time interval - 2 minutes.

Awards: Champion Cups for winners of VA and SA groups
Certificates and books for first three places in all groups.

Notes:

• Don't forget your pasport to cross the borber of Lithuania and Latvia and to remain in the border area.
• There is time change to winter time in the night of October 30 to 31 - one hour backward.
