My Movie Men:
Alan Rickman: When he's good, he's very very good, but when he's bad, he's better ;)
Well, I saw the Harry Potter movie, and of course, I fell in love woth Professor Snape. I've read all the books now, and he actually does not seem to be on the side of evil. I'm still a little worried though considering Alan Rickman has also made me fall in love with Rasputin and the Sheriff of Nottingham (Audra as Maid Marion: Oh Sheriff-Darling, I love your dark intensity and your REAL British accent. Now how about we go find that dull twit Robin Hood and cut his heart out with a spoon, then we'll go live happily ever after!)
Gary Oldman: He's Beethovan! Poof! He's Dracula! Poof! He's Dr. Smith!
Ewan MacGregor: I didn't want to like Ewan originally--he's just so pretty it's almost cliche, and it's my style to be alternative, but DAMN, I just can't help it. It's not just the face and the accent--don't give me that look I'm serious! He is a GREAT actor. He is one of the very best leading men around, and a wonderful singer as well. I don't have any links, but you shouldn't have any trouble finding at least one of the MILLIONS of Ewan MacGregor sites out there. Here are my favorite Ewan movies...
A Site Less Ordinary: The big "A Life Less Ordinary" fan site.

"A Life Less Ordinary," highly under-rated, meets all my criteria for a favorite movie. It has song and dance number, an unlikely love that is detined to be, and a great happy ending wedding. So I'm a romantic, so what? As if that wasn't enough, it has a pair of angels undercover on Earth as two goofy bounty hunters. There was no way I wasn't going to love it. The story is basically about a kidnapped daughter of a millionaire who falls in love with her captor, but this movie is 20 times better than "Excess Baggage," which was so lame my friend and I walked out of the theater. I might have picked a different lead acress. Cameron Diaz is not an actress I particularly care for, but she was decent enough.

STAR WARS: Episodes 1, 2 and 3. Ewan is OBI-WAN KENOBI!! Yeah WIELD that light saber, baby!! The Force.Net of course! |
Ewan and I......Oh I'm sorry, that's Nicole Kidman. I get us confused all the time! Of course this Ewan with Nicole in "Moulin Rouge," my favorite film of the decade. I came out of the theater saying these two should star in EVERY movie. |
