Single: Mad Donna � The Wheels on the Bus

When I heard that they were going to release a single that made Madonna�s brilliant �Ray of Light� track sound like �The Wheels on the Bus� I got that �sickly bad� feeling. The same bad feeling like hearing a new Mariah Carey song or that Britney Spears wants to be in films (or vice versa). However, this time I�m pleased to say it could have been a lot worse. It�s quite a credible effort and really does sound like �Ray of Light� and the singer does sound a bit like Madonna too. But the best bit is the animated video, where a cartoon Madonna drives a bus; even the hardest fan would have to giggle. There is even a scary bit with a baby that has a Madonna face. As this is a kid�s single, this is bearable but I�m sure they�d be happier with a Limp Bizkit album instead. But maybe they should do more strange covers for kiddies, like �59 Bottles of Beer On the Wall�� to the tune of Erotica perhaps�.
