Cloudbase remind me of Leeds band Bodixa, only Bodixa do a far, far better job. I can't help but think that if I ever saw Cloudbase live I would come away, write a review about how good the vocals were, mention that they could keep to a basic time pattern, and then never return. It's not that it's bad, it just isn't inspiring music. The song writing is basic, the guitarist plays around with simple chords through over-killed effects and they generally don't come close to breaking any new ground.   Whilst that is not a bad thing, the repetitiveness of hearing clich�d pub-pop gets very boring after a while.  If I were to stop now, which I intend to, I'd say "nice female voice, no actual songs".
