Posturemaker hail from that small blot on the map known as
Mansfield. Being busy writing new material and giging, as well as earning
a crust, all they had time for was this email interview...
Who's in the line-up?
Scott Burgess (Guitars / Bass / Drums )
Lee Fewkes (Keyboards / Programming)
Paul Smith (Vocals / Tantrums...)
How would you describe your sound?
Lee: Electro Rock?

Vocals
What bands have influenced you?
Lee: Moby, Massive Attack, 808 State, DJ

Hot Chilli Peppers, Rage Against the Machine, Mitch Mitchell, STEPS!
Paul: U2, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Marillion, Duran Duran, STAR

Where'd the name come from?
Lee: Ask Paul
Scott: Paul and I met a very hairy old woman who
said her name was Nelly & the rest is history.
Paul: Scott came up with Posture, I cam up with
Maker and liked the name. If I had spoken first we could have been MakerPosture!
Most memorable gig played?
Lee: Warsop Carnival, in my solo days - 100 people all
looking confused at what was roaring out from the speakers. I went on after a
chap that had just sang Boyzone songs and played a set of ambient electro music.
Ambients finest 30 minutes.
Scott: The Vic INN, There was hardly anybody there
as we had filled in at the last minute for another band. We played our socks off
& the reaction from the crowd was amazing, they just danced non stop.
