We will all gather in our own homes at the appointed time (10pm EST, February 7th 1999) and go to a quiet, dark place. Light a candle, and visualise yourself standing in a large field of flowers; there is a large group of people with you standing in a circle hand in hand and in the middle of the circle you see the outline of the country Afghanistan and all the women suffering there.
As you picture all these people, try to actually FEEL hands clasping yours on either side. HEAR the many voices speaking as one:
"Together we are powerful, together we are one, together we have meaning, together work is done!"
Chant these words nine times and then say "I lend my energy for the good of the circle, and the good of the women of Afghanistan." And picture yourself pushing all your love and caring into the hands that hold yours and then beaming into the centre of the circle and into the women of Afghanistan.
When you have finished blow out your candle and sit quietly for as long as you personally need to.
