The fathers of the Oratory of St. Nicholas celebrate a liturgical life that includes the hours, the Divine Liturgy and other devotional services.

Adoration of the Holy Eucharist, while not a usual part of the Eastern Tradition, is still a means of special devotion to the people of God. In Byzantine Daily Worship, Archbishop Joseph Raya notes, "The Eastern Church, particularly attached to the dynamic aspect of the work of redemption, has not always understood the Roman development of the cult of the Blessed Sacrament, that is, the reverence of the static presence of Christ. Yet, the development of this devotion to the presence of Christ in the consecrated host is legitimate." Here at the Oratory of St. Nicholas, the adoration of the Holy Eucharist is celebrated perpetually. You are welcome to call the monastery to make an appointment to access the oratory for adoration.

If you would like to have your intentions remembered in our prayers please contact us with your name, the name of the person you would like to have remembered and the intention for which you would like our assistance. We will add the names and intentions to our daily services. While charging for serives is not something that we at the monastery believe in doing, we ask that you consider a donation to help us with the costs involved with the basic upkeep of the chapel. Your donations can help us to continue to provide services to the community.

Sugested donations:
General prayers and rememberance - open
Offering a specific Divine Liturgy - $30.00
