A Christmas Putz |
|
The holiday season in the Lehigh Valley is enriched by many various ethnic traditions.
One of the oldest is from the German people who settled here, for whom the "Putz" is an important part of the family tradition.
A putz is an elaborate platform arrangment of trains, small villages, nativity, or manger scenes.
The Lehigh County Senior Citizen's Center created this putz using local landmarks as their models. |
