(in the absence of jh [Editor's note: jh is an ex-rmder who frequently posted on RMD, and offered a number of very insightful commentaries, some of which are collected here, almost exclusively concerning biblical references. Alas, he frequently went a bit over the edge with his biblical fever], I feel it's my duty to point out that the phrase "sick of love" here means "sick with love". Of course, we all know that "stay" means strengthen, "flagons" were cakes (not wine bottles - they didn't have them!) and "apples" were probably oranges)
