The Day Has Come

The day has come to bury the one,
we treasured beyond all else.
The joy and laughter she has brought will be within the crowds
Just another soul above
Another grave to dig
Yet all the people gather 'round
do so much suffering
You cannot forget, you cannot condone,
the lives you cherish most,
Is more then just a day.
It's a journey with rough and dangerous turns
has always been, a road with a beginning
and without an end.
