Overview
|
What can I do for you?
I have several years' experience
administering Windows NT and 2000-based networks. I have run Exchange
5.5 and Exchange 2000 messaging systems as well as Lotus Notes. I
also have experience administering mixed NT and Unix networks.
I've delivered projects on time with minimal supervision, such as
the deployment of a firewall/VPN solution, deployment of Exchange (mailbox
servers and Outlook Web Access), Terminal Services, and Domain Controllers.
I have installed and configured Samba on SGI Irix allowing file sharing
between Unix/Irix and Windows. In a team framework I've upgraded an
NT network to Windows 2000.
On a day to day basis I've provided desktop support to the entire
spectrum of end users, from technophobes to developers, with a dedication
to customer service. I've mentored new hires as well as supported
more senior network administrators. In several of my jobs I have had
the opportunity to teach users. I volunteered to develop and teach
a basic Windows user skills course at Bird Street Community Center in Uphams
Corner, Dorchester.
As an experienced Microsoft certified IT professional (MCSE 2K) with
an advanced liberal arts degree, I have excellent communication and research
skills. In combination with my solid technical skills and outstanding
customer service instincts, they would make me a strong addition to your
team.
Below is my resume. I
look forward to discussing with you how I can help you have a more productive
and stable network environment.
Regards,
Adam
