The three sites I have selected as exemplary are:

1. Greater Tulsa Area Professional Development.

This site serves an an information source for educators. The design supports the educational purpose in several ways. First it provides information on classes that the target population may want to take. It also provides a list of Internet links which have been through a filtering and rating system, enaling the educators to put more trust in them. To accommodate the fact that some educators do not have very fancy equipment, a text only version of the page is available. This site has a target audience of Tulsa area educators. The links, chat areas, class schedles etc. are all topics of great interest to educators. Hypertext text is used by placing information and links on different pages of the site rather than one long page. 2. Burley Seminary Home Page.

This site gives information about the Burley seminary which is useful to students of the seminary, prospective students and the faculty. it is easy to move aroound in and the areas of interest to each separte group are clearly identifed. Hypertext text is used by placing information and links on different pages of the site rather than one long page 3. ECD department at Red Deer College.

This site is targeted at prospective early education students. It gives information about the college's program. It is easy to follow and the graphics and color choices ar very appropriate to early childhood education since they use the primary colors and crayon effect so loved by young children. A well-planned and executed site. Hypertext text is used by placing information and links on different pages of the site rather than one long page. He also used frames to show the menu of choices at all times, so the user does not haveto search for the menu choices.
