The following photo was taken by Lou Cross, a custom builder of O-scale passenger cars.

After the Second World War the Railway Express Agency rebuilt a number of troop sleepers into express refrigerator cars. Lou took this photo of one of the rebuilds in Los Angeles in the early 1950s. Note the Allied Full Cushion trucks.
