The Idea
I got this idea from Amy_Tenchi when she replied to my topic Cross stitching (in General Chat. She wrote "But i discovered that you can take any pixel art, and color match it to a cross stitch pattern." And I figured, why not?!
What You Do to Enter
Create a doll and then create it into a cross stitch pattern using one of these grids from freepatternsonline.com as help. Then e-mail me (find my email at EE) or PM me at Eden-Enchanted, with an attachment or linked image and the form:

What You Doll
The doll can be any size and any theme/subject, but please keep in mind these things: ~1. Try not to use a wild or wide range of colors, my supply is limited at the moment, and I might end up having to replace colors >_< ~2. Try not to make too many details, the more details the longer it takes to finish ~3. If you used a base made by you or one approved for a contest like this by a friend of yours, I would feel a little safer ^^; Please make sure the base you use is allowed for something like this.
What You Might Win and Voting
The voting will be in a poll or topic or similar at the EE forums :) As a last resort I'll have to make it via email or something, but I hope that doesn't happen. From the entries I get I will narrow it down to the Top 5 or 3, depending on how many entries I get (I hope get at least two =P). From that I will either have a second vote or I will pick myself which one is the Finalist. So, what does the winner get? Well, they get a stitch of their doll! ^__^ That is, if they are in the end willing to give me their mailing address so that I can mail it to them :) And wah la, a purdy little stitch for almost nothing ^_^
Other Rules I Dunno Where to Put
1. Please make sure you read everything! Ask any questions you have at the topic From Pixel to Stitch in Site Advertisements at the EE forum.
2. I'm asking to be able to keep the right to stitch the Top dolls later if I feel like it, and this means that those dollers will not get the stitch. If you're not comfortable with me doing this, just say so! If you don't say no to this, I will just assume it is all right. But don't worry, none of this is commerical in any sort of way, just for fun ^_^
3. I say again: Make sure the base is allowed! I would hate to do this with a base that the base creator wouldn't want to be used x__X
4. Please aaaaask if you have questions, or feel free to tell me if I forgot something or did something wrong ^^;
5. Depending on the doll and the materials it will take, the project will take up to two weeks. After that about a week to mail, depending on when I am able to mail the stitch.
6. If the Finalist is unwilling to give out their address (why join then, anyway?) then I will simply either keep the stitch or offer it up to another of the Top dollers ^_^
7. Once again, ask or tell me something if you need to!
