She has a healthy brown color and she has high cheeckbones. She has pretty long leggs and arms, and she is somewhat to thin for her height. And she is tall, even taller than some men. She has some freckles on her nose, and there are some silver hairs here and there. She has some wrinkles on the corners of her mouth and eyes, but that's not only of aging; she is hardly found without a smile on her face. personality: Zelaikira is a very goodhearted woman, wouldn't hurt a fly. She is pretty easygoing and many people like her. She is a very responsible woman, and is well aware of her position. She is somewhat arrogant, and she'll make sure everyone has seen her. Her age makes it easier for her to calm down situations, and her experience makes her a very good Weyrwoman. But she isn't always serious. Weyrmate: S'far, Weyrleader, wingleader to Fire Wing, rider to Bronze Silaceth persona history:Zelaikira was born before there was even duscission on 2 new Weyrs on the Southern Continent, and she lived through the famine. She lived her entire live in Telgar Weyr, and only left the Weyr to meet her father in Telgar Hold. She became a Candidate as soon as she was old enough to give it a shot, but she stood many times, and never Impressed. She was a weaver, and a good one at that. She was 20, and the Candidate Master decided it was enough now; she had had her chances, there were more than enough other Candidates. But at the next Hatching, she stood again, a little aside of the Sands to make sure the Candidate Master wouldn't remove her from the Sands, and then she Impressed Golden Elareth. She couldn't be more proud, and her brothers, to, were very proud of her. Her sister envied her a little, but after a few months, the two made it up with eachother. Famine had already started to embrace the Holds and Weyrs, and it was sometimes hard to feed the young Queen. As soon as Elareth was old enough to fly, when Zelaikira was 23, she was sent out to investigate the Southern Continent. She found a nice bowl for a new Weyr, a supply-Weyr, but when the dragonriders started to move there, they found out it was a hideout for the 'Blue Death', and they had to fight to get the Weyrbowl in their hands and keep it. Many riders and their dragons died in the sevendays that followed, and Kasela, the old Weyrwoman from Telgar, blamed Zelaikira for the death of M'rol, Telgar's Weyrleader, who died during a small 'war' against the Blue Death. 2 turns later, the Weyr was safe and built, and Zelaikira was happy to find out she was the new Weyrwoman. She did a great job, but in a while, the food started to run out on the Southern COntinent aswell, making the wild flits and other animals die. But when Zelaikira was 32, things started to get better... The Northern Continent didn't need their food supplies anymore, and they could start to rebuilt the population on the Southern Continent. That's when Zelaikira introduced a new Hall: Flit hall, doing research on all flit-life, and their breeding behaviour. She encouraged everyone to look for flit eggs on the beaches and impress as many flits as possible, but also take the eggs with them and tranquilize the mothers with food that was treated with a sleeping potion to asssure the wild flit population to start groing again in a safe envirement. When Zelaikira was 36 turns old, a new Weyrleader came at his power; S'far, letting the first Weyrleader, who had rules over Siraldor Weyr for 10 turns retire. Since then, S'far's Silaceth always caught Elareth, and the Weyr couldn't have prospered any more. length: 40m. 56 cm. physical description: Elareth has a slightly bronze-gold color, with a beautiful red shine on her wings. She is averagely big, and has a respectable wingspan. She has a small scar on her left fore-arm due to some problems with Zelaikira's canines. personality: Elareth is a calm dragon, just as her rider, with a nice sence of humor. But her memory's a hole: she can only remember her own and her rider's name, and sometimes Silaceth's and S'far's name, but the rest of the dragons and riders always are a riddle to her memory. Kyel is a strong bronze firelizard with some black weaved into his wings and tail. He had an illnes when he was only just born, and has some problems with his left wing, making it impossible for him to fly long distances or chace. He also doesn't realy seem to care about that: he hasn't even tried to chase a gold or green. He just sits on Zelaikira's shoulder all day, no matter what happens. He needs her around. Gress is Zelaikira's oldest pet: emerald green, but not as active as she used to be. She hardly ever rises now, making things a lot easier for Zelaikira. She likes to fly around in the Weyr, and she collects pretty things, though the always returns them in a few days. Some people in the Weyr say that's because she has a great sence of responsability, and doesn't want to be a thief. And yet, everytime she sees something shiny, she just _has_ to have it in her paws! Bite is a black, big canine, he comes to Zelaikira's thies, and he is enormous. If he jumps up to you, you're smashed to the ground, no doubt 'bout that... He is a very happy and active canine, always jumping around, making him a danger to the Weyr and its people. But he's friendly with small animals and children, and he's a loyal guard. He likes to sit near the cr�che to look the small children get nurced, and he growls and barks to everyone whose scent isn't familiar, and don't you dare hurt one of the children under his care... Fang is a little older than Bite, and he isn't as big. He's dark brown with black fur on his belly and between his ears. He usually can be found around the kitchens, or in Zelaikira's Weyr, sniffing around, looking for something to play with, or something to eat. Those are his two only hobbies, and he spents his entire day on them. |
