General Surgery department is the captain of trauma care team and there are three Consultant General Surgeons with decades of experience. All general surgical procedures are routinely performed here.

Major operations like Total Thyroidectomy, Total Gastrectomy, Cholicystectomy, Hemi-colectomy, Abdomino-perineal Resection, Wipple’s Resection for Pancreatic Cancer, Mastectomy, Splenectomy etc. are also performed.
