CONTENIDO:
This book is intended as a teaching text in electronics. It therefore contains a structure and is written in a style which are designed to help you understand the basic principles of the subject and to design a range of electronic circuits. At the same time its content list, its 'signposts', its section-numbering and figure-numbering, its section titles and its full index are intended to enable those who prefer to study by dipping into the subject, as their interest takes them, to learn equally effectively. All chapters have their own aims and objectives, and summaries. The book has been adapted from the open University course Analogue and Digital Electronics by some of fue authors of that course. It lays the foundations of electronics for those who wish to take the subject further. But it also reaches a level in the subject at which it is possible for you to design a range of high-quality circuits. The emphasis is on developing a clear understanding of the principles behind fue design of circuits, rather than on presenting a catalogue or file of well-tried circuits from which you could take your pick. It is, as a consequence, not a comprehensive reference book on electronics.
