Weekday
Rulers
Most people know their Sun
sign. Many also know their Moon and rising sign as
parts of their identity. Did
you know your weekday of birth is
also part of your identity
and ties it all
together? We often inherit it from one of our parents or
grandparents and it runs very strongly in many families. Some
astrologers have been looking for hereditary connections
in charts for
some time. It seems none have thought to use the weekday of birth. I
have found
it to be repeated more often than any other factor.
I
suggest
starting with the Days
& Cities page for some impressive connections. Then
find your weekday
of birth & peruse the over 400 charts of the
famous, grouped by weekday of birth on the Monday/Saturday,
Tuesday/Friday,
Wednesday/Thursday
and Sunday
pages. I hope you will perceive their similarities and then
look up your friends and relatives for comparison. You should begin to
see a pattern so please add them in your comments to my
Guestbook
or email me your findings. I should
make it clear that the +/- notation after a name means odd/even in the
Julian Period. A system which adds one number for each day since 1413
Jan 1 BC. Scientists & astronomers use this system which goes
from
noon to noon but it is inappropriate for astrologers. So some have
adopted a modified Julian Date going midnight to midnight with a
difference by one number. So if you use the perpetual calendar below
remember that the Day in the Julian Period is off by one.

weekday of
birth or someone else's, click here for a Perpetual Calendar.
The Overlooked
Key
to the
Birth Chart and Personality
Alchemy
is said to be about turning common metals into
gold.
The idea put forth here is about helping common people attain golden
relationships.
Be sure to
click on the Gregorian calendar
button unless you are sure it is a Julian date, (usually before 1583).
The
weekday of birth is
very important, underrated
and overlooked in astrological literature and can tie the whole chart
together. It is subtly reflected in our physical characteristics,
voice, our style and our astrology charts. I
have found
it hard to
guess someone's sun sign by looking at them but with
practice
I found it easier to guess the weekday on which they
were
born. The image
above represents the basic or traditional "rulers" of
the weekdays in the natural
order of the days, starting clockwise
with the Sun
at
the bottom for Sunday, followed by the
Moon
for Monday,
Mars
for Tuesday, Mercury
for Wednesday,
Jupiter
for
Thursday,
Venus
for Friday and Saturn
for Saturday. In this scheme, there is also the "complementary" day:
Sunday with Sunday, Monday with Saturday, Tuesday with Friday &
Wednesday with Thursday which vibrate at the same frequency and gives
us four basic levels of
consciousness. Here is a link
to another site with a table of medical planetary correspondences.
This approach is about looking at the BIG PICTURE
and comparing people while not using prediction as much as self
understanding. If you perceive the examples put forth here and
get to know yourself better, you can make better choices in your
relationships.
If you are into genealogy, looking up the weekdays of family members
gives a
whole new meaning to the branches of the family tree. Which members of
your family are you really
closest to? It is an interesting fact that all of the original
Rolling Stones were born on Mondays or Saturdays.
All but one of the members added later
were also. Perhaps The Jimi Hendrix Experience was a great trio because
Jimi was
a -Friday's child, while Noel Redding was a -Tuesday. The core members
of Steely Dan, Donald Fagan, is a
-Saturday and Walter Becker a -Monday. Maybbe Johnny Carson had such a
long great run because
he was a -Friday while Ed McMahon was a -Tuesday. There are also
examples
of
married celebrity Pairs
here, and lists of many celebrities by
weekday, some with charts. This
website is for anyone who
is looking for the "right" relationship, is interested in astrology,
and also thinks astrology gets way too complicated.
If you don't know where to start, this is the
place. I provide a
"match-making" service that takes the guesswork out of finding the
right one. My emphasis on making the perfect match starts with the day
of
the week. Days of the week are what ties each persons chart
together. Moon signs, the rising sign, and
sometimes the sun sign
are also very important in that "perfect" connection. I
believe
in the spirituality and inseparable connection of the Bible, astrology
and the days of the week. and these connections are critical to lasting
relationships. The Bible is rich with astrological metaphors
starting
with the 7 days of Creation
in Genesis
to the 7 spirits on the throne of God in the book of Revelation. There
are
7 colors in a rainbow, About 7 days in the Moon's quarter cycle, 7
years in Saturn's quarter cycle and Uranus spends 7 years in each sign.
These web
pages were created to promote astrology in
general. But especially
to show the idea that the 'ruler' of the weekday
is the first and most important consideration when looking at
a
relationship or a birth chart. This is a wonderful tool that can be
used by anyone with a minimal knowledge of astrology. You don't need to
know the exact time of birth to get a pretty good understanding of
personality, especially if
you consider the sun sign and the oriental year. It is most useful and
interesting when looking at family structures and who we choose as
friends,
associates and lovers.
If
you are seeking the perfect match and are tired of the traditional ways
to seek Mr./Ms. Right, then contact me. My services are reasonable, not
complicated, and certainly educational. If
you're not already in a relationship or are still searching I highly
recommend
joining Starmatch.
All members give their
date of birth and many give their times. Many also have pictures. It is
free to join
unless you decide to use their matching service.
