I'm leaving tomorrow morning for Martha's Vineyard, and will come back on Tuesday or Friday. So, let me make one thing very clear:

WE ARE NOT AT WAR WITH ATHEDIA. WE DO NOT -WANT- WAR WITH ATHEDIA.

Anyone who decides to go against Athedia will be punished upon my return. Anyone who tries to -coax- Athedia into attacking us so we'll retaliate will be punished as well. For one thing, while I'm away we can't go to war. If they do some kind of large-scale attack, especially if there's not a lot of us on, then we can stop it by contacting an RP Admin. We are, in general, extremely disorganized, and I don't want us going to war as we are. In all military emergencies, Kojiro and in his absence any of our knights are your commanders. Lets all try to get along, shall we?

Also, let me mention that neither Trent nor Caemus are criminals now. Caemus is to be watched closely if he enters the city, however. I do not want anyone attacking either unless their life is threatened. Also, the Crimson Blades are allies of Val, they are the only ones allowed in past the lockdown.

Also, I'm seeing a lot of personal harrassment. A lot of animosity has been seen, particularly toward Lyle and Zerowin. Stop it. I don't care what personal vendettas you have. If they've done something IC or OOC to warrant me removing them, I would have. Stop being such children.

Lastly, I'm getting questions about when I'm going to add the articles for the otehr ranks. Well, here's what happened. I wrote the citizens one, spread the website, no one read it and all our citizens left. So, I'm not quite so inclined to write new stuff since I barely see you all reading this anyway. We're going to have a nice long talk about how things are going in Val when I get back. Needless to say, I'm not very happy with how a lot of you are going about your duties.

P.S. Kojiro, feel free to recruit for Soldier/Town Guard. They've all mysteriously dissapeared.

06.22.04 This is a big one. UPDATED- LOOK AT END

Okay, I've started a major RP event, so I'm filling you all in.

Here's what you PROBABLY would have heard, if you haven't already:
Wind got possessed by a demon and was showing off great power. His daughter with Celestria, Diviana, then floated by. He said he had killed her, and that she was actually Trent's daughter. He then threatened humanity, and dissapeared.

Earlier today, Wind made a public speech to everybody in the castle. He explained what was going on. A spirit from the Astral Plane, where his summons came from, had possessed him. One thousand years ago, Valikorlia had slaughtered the summoner tribe out of an unfounded fear. The spirit wanted revenge, so it took over Wind, one of the last blood descendants of the tribe. It wants to destroy Valikorlia, which it is doing by manipulating Trent. It made Trent want to attack Valikorlia personally, and he has already caused the destruction of many of our siege weapons. Speaking of Trent, the reason the spirit showed itself and fully took over Wind was because Trent pushed him into a river, knowing he'd sink with his armor on. The spirit wanted to spare his life because it wants to use him. However, the spirit's link to this realm was shattered and it left him. Also, Wind did NOT kill Diviana, it was a monster the spirit summoned to fool Trent, and eventually try to eat him. (Also, I don't know WHERE this came from because RPed possessed Wind I never said anything like this, but Wind also never layed a hand on Celes.) To prove he was no longer possessed, he had Ceolwulf stab him. The spirit would have killed Ceolwulf, but nothing happened, so now most people believe he's okay. However, he warned that the spirit would try and attack again. Wind stressed that as a summoner, he was Val's greatest defense, as they don't want to kill him, and that he knows a lot about this enemy.

So, what do you do with this info? You either believe Wind, or don't believe him. We had some marvelous RP today as Fredrick was enraged, and Ukena's char didn't know what to believe. Use this as a chance to develop your character, think about what they'd really think. As far as official stuff we are UNDER LOCKDOWN. That means that NO ONE GETS IN. Secondly, Trent is now a criminal, for attempted assassination (The destruction of siege weapons was not directly seen, and there may have been accomplices.). Anyone who lets Trent in will be severely punished. Let me reiterate, he is being manipulated into going against Valikorlia. Also, we've gotten reports that Caemus is back to his old tricks. Trust no one. That is all for now, enjoy the RP, it has barely begun. :)

Okay, it is now confirmed that Trent, Caemus, and possibly Matrim Hakor and Sagremour Xanthica are planning an effort to dethrone me. Whether or not I am trusted by you, this can only end in blood. They, and any who ally with them, are to be considered treasonous and dangerous. If they make their presence in our city, they will be dealt with. Anyone who THINKS about letting them in will be discharged and most likely jailed. This could get messy, folks.

06.17.04 What is it good for? Absolutely nothin'! Sing it again!

Lazirif Nofurious and Azenthius Esthras spent the day exchanging letters. This is the one, finally, that ended the war. Turns out, this WHOLE mess was Mordred and Clops' fault. How 'bout that.

Dear Lazirif,
After much consideration, I have decided to end this war. Now, I'd like to make it perfectly clear, we are doing this more for your sakes than anything else. Between our own troops and our allies', we could easily wipe Athedia out. And will not hesitate to do so, if future problems arise. However, nothing good ever came from a nation of corpses, and I would personally love to see Athedia as it was in the days of Kain (Under whom I was actually a soldier, if I may add.) and other great rulers. However, because of the manner in which all this occured, I cannot provide any financial support. Athedia will have to recover on its own.

So let this death end, and let us enjoy peace, but be warned. I should also inform you that certain members of your nation, such as one Caemus Xanthica and those allied with him, have already and may again make rebellion against our nation. I dearly hope that these men do not ignite once more the spark of war.

If I may, I would like to propose some...tokens, of peace. The first would be the punishment of the men responsible for this (For which I know Mordred and Richard Xanthica to be directly, but there may be others) in whatever way Athedia deems best. Keep in mind, these men nearly got your nation destroyed. Secondly, the aforementioned Richard Xanthica has place a bit of a curse of sorts on me. We now share each others' pain. I would very much appreciate the knowledge of how to remove this. I am willing, thusly, to end hostilities and leave Athedia as it is. But I must again warn you, we will not tolerate more such incidents.

Now, as for OOC matters. Yes, we have too many nations. I have two responses to this: One, we'd have a ludicrous amount of people if all Athedians wore Val tags. Probably too many. Second, if Athedia's not fit to be a nation, it wont last. Its up to them now.

THE WAR IS OVER. Now we can get on with our tournaments and other various events. More non-War news tomorrow. We will be having a fiesta of sorts tomorrow night, circa 10-11 PM EST unless I get back from work earlier. Or maybe during the day if we have enough people.

06.15.04 Listen up.

Athedia and Val have come to an agreement of sorts. Tomorrow (Or today, its about 2 AM here) a decision will be made regarding a proposal raised by Clops. For a certain number of days, Athedia and Valikorlia would not fight, in preparation for one battle to decide the war. I will be discussing this with various people tomorrow to decide. 06.13.04 War! Huh! What is it good for?

Athedia and Valikorlia are officially at war. They paid us a visit last night, and decided they would rather fight than talk. So when they had their forces gathered, we responded, and they ran off. So, some announcements. 1. THE. CITY. IS. UNDER. LOCKDOWN. NO ONE. IS. LET. IN. NOT TRENT. NOT YOUR CLOSE PERSONAL FRIEND. NOT SETENGER. STOP. LETTING. PEOPLE. IN.

2. You are NOT-NOT-NOT-NOT to go after Athedia. We will defend if they attack, but until our siege weaponry is fully gani'id, we will not go to them.

3. The trolls are now our allies. They can be let through the gates, and are being given land promised to them by Trent, in exchange for their services. They have shown themselves to be valiant warriors thus far, and I will not tolerate those who do not treat them as our allies.

4. If Athedians enter the city in force, it is everyone's responsibility to let everyone know IC what's going on (Not toguilds) and get everyone behind our wall.

More info will come soon. Try to run business as normal, but I will need more city patrols. This means Soldiers and Rangers too.

One more thing. A lot of people have been harrassing Zerowin, publicly through guild messages or privately. This ends now. He's done one thing that anyone sees as wrong, and other knights have done arguably worse things. I don't care if you like him, I don't care what you think, but you're not going to mess with him anymore. I will kick people out if I need to. That is all.

06.12.04 Update on tournament

Alright, its been decided that ALL soldiers will participate in the tournament, and YES, promotions will be in order at the end. It will be conducted soon, possibly even tonight, if we have enough soldiers on. We can hold it on many days, so don't worry if you can't make it on a particular night. I would appreciate if you would still e-mail me so I have a general idea of how many soldiers we have total. That is all.

06.10.04 Many Happenings!

First of all, the upper city is STILL under lockdown. Non-Valikorlians don't get in without permission from myself or Celestria. As for Athedia-I'll make more announcements soon, but here is the situation: Because of their lack of any politics in separating, it is considered direct rebellion. We are NOT at war. Do not make any attempts at starting anything, or you will be punished. Now, onto happier things.

You wanted it, you're getting it- AN EVENT!!!! And no, not another banquet...the much-requested TOURNAMENT! All soldiers will be elible for participation in one-on-one battles. WOODEN weapons will be used. You will be outfitted in private before the match, so any weapons you have normally will be there. It will be text fighting, no fatalities or critical injuries, to be won by knockout or resignation. Here's the catch: The one who beats the other does not necessarily win. The knights, as well as myself, will be judging the matches, and will decide who wins on other criteria; tactics, attitude, and other qualities will win you match. This means, fight as you normally would. We want to judge you naturally. Also, we will use this as an OOC measure of possible power-RPers. Remember, you're soldiers, not superhuman. Now, you might be thinking "I'm new at RP fighting, best not to try." NO! This is your best chance to learn RP fighting. Its a friendly atmosphere, low-stakes, and you're surrounded by people that can help you improve your texting. You have nothing to lose, so just try! As for the winners, they'll receive nice things like money, prizes, and who knows, maybe a promotion....;D

TO REGISTER: Drop me an e-mail at [email protected] with your name, what times you think you can be on (Preferably a weekend night, between 7-10 or later.). If you wish to let me know anything else, feel free. Once I get a good idea of when we can have enough people on, we'll start. NOTE- It wont be a one-night thing, most likely. If a lot of people enter, it could go on for a while.

06.06.04 READ THIS.

Caemus Xanthica has started a rebellion against myself and Queen Celestria. Him and anyone associated with him are now considered national enemies. First of all, we must be clear: You are NOT to go attack on your own, or in groups, unless specifically instructed by myself or, in an emergency, Kotoro. We already have one Knight go off and attack, resulting in Empyrian casualties. There are no heroes, no glory in going out like that. Things need to proceed as normally as possible. -NO ONE- is allowed through the gates unless they're Valikorlian or Empyrian. Citizens will only be allowed in the church. If anyone else wants in, they need my permission. I will make a list of those accepted and post it here. If there is any doubt in your mind whether the person is Valikorlian or Empyrian, deny them. Caemus may send spies (Do not go by names/tags.)

Now, about people already in. If you're with Calin, get off this page. Its underhanded of you to still look here for private information. As for anyone in Val with Caemus, I suggest you stop using your tag and publicly follow him, because anyone found to be working for him while in Val will be swiftly and harshly punished. Caemus and co. are NOT to be attacked if they come in the city. If they make any sort of offensive action, they are to be dealt with in NUMBERS. Do not act alone. And remember, the chain of command is myself and Aurora, or Kojiro or Kotoro if we're not on, and the knights in general beyond that. If it comes down to it and they outnumber you greatly, let them do as they wish. They wont be able to get past the gate, and we can rebuild in the city. Besides, I'm sure Caemus is smarter than to kill the people of the nation he wants to be king of. That is all for now.

Tonight, at or around 8-9PM EST, I would like to have a meeting of every Valikorlian military personnel possible. YOUR job is to make sure -everyone- knows, important changes and etc. will be discussed. I'm gunning for 8:00 because its a good time for most poeple, but some dinner plans may get in the way.
