16TONGTR "16 Ton Gtr"
BACKWOOD "Back Woods"
DARKJRNY "DarkJourney"
HOPMUZAK "Hop Muzak"
MINORTEK "Minor Tek"
RONNIE'S "Ronnie'sBag"

To load these demos: Insert the floppy into the disk
drive. Hit the "LOAD" button found in the Disk/Gobal section
of the MR keyboard. Use the Parameter knob to scroll to the
file type "1-SONG". The Value knob can then be used to
select a song from the alphabetical listing. Hit the "ENTER"
button to confirm your choice. The file will be loaded from
floppy and will be made the currently selected song. Hit
"PLAY" on the 16 Track Recorder's transport to hear the
demo.

Additional 1-SONG files can be loaded by repeating the
instructions above. You can load as many demos as your
sequencer Song RAM allows. The newly loaded file will be
made current and can be played by hitting "PLAY" on the
transport controls. To hear the other demos that were
previously loaded, hit the "SELECT SONG" button in the Song
Editor section of the MR keyboard. Select a song from the
list. You will see the songs in this list presented to you
alphabetically.

When sequencer memory is full, an error message will warn
you if you try to load another song and there is
insufficient memory available. You can make more memory
available with the Librarian function. In the Disk/Global
area, hit the "LIBRARIAN" button. Use the Parameter knob to
select "Set up RAM memory?" from the list of functions. Hit
"ENTER". You can then use the Parameter knob to select
different size memory partitions for Songs, the Idea Pad,
Sounds and Rhythms. Confirm your choice with the "ENTER"
button.

If you just want to clear out the sequencer memory, without
changing the partition size, the Librarian will allow you to
do this, too. In the Disk/Global area, hit the "LIBRARIAN"
button. Use the Parameter knob to select "Erase memory
banks?" from the list of functions. Hit "ENTER". You can
then use the Value knob to scoll to the first item in the
list, "* All Songs *". Hitting "ENTER" will initiate the
action and the display will confirm that all songs have been
erased from memory.

File Type: ALL-RAM
File: 3BYPELLE

Contains three songs:
"K Curtis"
"New Orleans"
"Sax Squeal"

This ALL-RAM file loads three songs that use the base set of
MR ROM sounds plus a RAM bank of custom sounds. To hear the
demos properly, you must load the ALL-RAM file, which calls
up both the sequenced data and the custom sound data. Do not
load the ALL-SONGS file called "3BYPELLE"; it does not
automatically load the custom RAM sound bank.

To load these demos: Insert the floppy into the disk
drive. Hit the "LOAD" button found in the Disk/Global
section of the MR keyboard. Use the Parameter knob to scroll
to the file type "ALL-RAM". The display will show
"3BYPELLE". Hit the "ENTER" button to confirm your choice.
The RAM sound bank file will be loaded and the 3-song file
will be loaded from floppy. The first song will be made the
currently selected song. Hit "PLAY" on the 16 Track
Recorder's transport to hear the demo. To hear the other
demos in this file, hit the "SELECT SONG" button in the Song
Editor section of the MR keyboard. Select a new song from
the list by hitting "ENTER". You will see the songs in this
list presented to you as a number until they have been
selected for the first time. (The number you will see will
vary depending on how many songs have been loaded into the
unit since it was powered up. Your selection will look
something like this: SONG #2 :SONG0007) After the intial
loading the songs will appear in the list with their title
and are selected in the same manner as described above.

This file also loads a set of 19 custom sounds into RAM
(Bank 2) that are needed for the demos. They can be
auditioned separately by going to SoundFinder and selecting
the category "INT-SND".
