To inform internet surfers about the American Sign Language (ASL) Club at Harper College in Palatine, Illinois.

What do you want the web site to accomplish?
Get students involved, particularly American Sign Language class students and Interpreting Program students. Especially to entice non-members to join, and to inform both new and returning ASL/ITP students of on-campus and off-campus events and resources.

Who is your intended audience?
Harper College students--in ASL and ITP classes--and anyone else interested in learning American Sign Language.

What opportunity, problem, or issue is your site addressing?
Need for all students of American Sign Language to obtain information on D/deaf social opportunities; resource to learn more about D/deaf people, language, and culture; and a place to help resolve some misconceptions about D/deaf life.

What type of content might be included in your site?
Mission, Goals, Events (ASL Club, Deaf community), Resources, Websites and other ways to contact someone for more information (example: which class to take at what level, classes only offered in Spring, etc.).
