For the first time, French military planes yesterday took part in Somalia's secret air surveillance operations. The planes reportedly joined other US and British planes which have recently been conducting flights through Somalia's air space, in a bid to locate military training camps belonging to Al-Qa'idah affiliates. US and British warships are stationed off the Somali coast in a bid to prevent members of the Al-Qa'idah organization from sneaking into Somalia, after fighting in Afghanistan.
