I got my cell phone unlocked tonight for twenty-five smackeroos at a cell phone place at First Markham, in one of the myriad of shops within the mall.

I don't think it was totally worth it, as the only ability that became unhidden was the usage of MP3s as "ringtunes" (that's how SonyEricsson/Rogers call it), and the right button no longer mapped as "internet". Instead it is now the "menu" button, being redundantly useless simply because pushing the middle button in the joystick also brings up the menus. And no, you can't remap that button even if you wanted to.

In the process I've lost the ability to dial onto the internet, which isn't a big deal, but still a feature which I wish had been retained.
