I was in yet another meeting with managers when it hits me. They are mundane, moronic, meddling, miserable, malicous, and on occasion, melodramatic. And I'm not even talking about managers yet.

Sometimes I'm fustrated at how much joking around goes on in meetings. I get upset when people appear to have more fun than they should - don't you know I have better things to do with my life than to sit in a stuffy dim-lit meeting room for an hour? By the wam, I only have about two minutes of contribution to the discussion; can you hurry it up?!

After being in consecutive meetings for much of the day, I finally see the light. The only time they get to interact and socialize with any other co-workers are these rare times when bust a joke, however sad, silly and lame it may seem. Most times they don't even get to hang out for lunch, so really these meetings are like an old frat boys club, with women colleague and no salacious remarks.
