Um, I really wanted to go back, but realize there's no real need. I'm not just being a heartless bastid, but he's already gone....

No, me and Roberta aren't able to go on such short notice. I'll be coming home in a few weeks to be with my mom for three or four days. Should make some difference, but it's too bad I can't go to HK for the last rites.

no. thought about it, but way too last minute. if i were to go id go along with my dad, and he took off this morning and will be there for 10 days :(
