I can't sleep.

I had an iced milk tea, and now I'm wide awake.

The trip so far has been fun. Chiacgo is a great city, if only the wind would die down some, and the rain wasn't horizontal like. Okay, I'm just complaining for the sake of having something to write down.

The camera is great. I sometimes wish that I didn't have it though. In the end, you waste so much time trying to get something "nice" that you forget real world happens, and you sometimes miss it through the narrow window of the viewfinder.

Take today for example. In the Shedd museum, I shot many pictures of the fish in the aquarium, but you know what? I have absolutely no idea what my subjects were, what they did, how they fit into the ecology of the sea.

Heck, I don't even know if "Shedd" is the name of the aquarium/museum. Is it even a museum? Beats me.

All I know is that I spent a good a good 15 minutes trying to get a decent shot of jellyfish. The futility of this exercise dawned on me when I realized that my obsession to capture a perfectly clear shot was moot simply because jellyfishes don't have sharp edges to begin with, and they are in nature gelatinous, and therefore, would made sense if they were just slightly blurry.

As my cousins would say....

....Duh!
