Cousin Check

Friday, February 28
nice page Justin. i must say, having an updated blog to read is way better than reading your class schedule once a day just in case something changes. hey Eric, Lawrence and Dan [and whoever else visits this anymore...Roberta?]. Friday, February 21
never mind... my inexorable need to procrastinate has led to the redesign of my website. i guess the layout is pretty much settled--it's too much work to change things now! link time for bed now.
btw, i have a blog now. mostly just to waste time when i've got better things to do. not as entertaining as other blogs. but, hey, my life's pretty boring right now. i haven't figured out what i want to do with the layout yet. suggestions anyone? Thursday, February 20
Eric - ok now i feel terrible, because, well.. i just bought a camera myself. my old sony dsc-p50 was a faithful lil guy indeed, but alas, 2.1MP just doesnt cut it. however, practicing shooting on a [non-digital] slr kinda sucks because of the obvious lag between pressing the shutter button and getting your pictures back from processing so i dont really shoot with the n60 unless its a special occasion of sorts. so whats my brilliant plan? save money on developing by spending my life savings on a new digital camera. ugh! oh well, welcome aboard Mr. G2
Dan: you don't have to work anything out. IT's settlted, it's behind me. If I had known how cheap it was for a new cam, I woulda bought a new camera instead, and not bother to fix it. :) OH well, you live you learn, I guess. Anyhoo, it's water under the bridge, amigo. let dead dogs lie, don't flog a dead horse dead. etc. Wednesday, February 19
Hm, yeah I kind of stopped reading everyone's blogs. And if anyone noticed, I kinda stopped updating mine too, or at least slowed it down to near-nothing. I guess I have a short attention span in general. I hate snow too, but I remember when I used to love it. What happened to those days?
Eric: let me know (somehow or another, im sure not via this blog) how much your repairs were so we can work something out.
one at a time peeps: Larry - Yes, I was in HK. No, I'm back in toronto. Hate ice/snow/cold. It was fun. You knew I was planning to go from last yr. I guess I failed to mention I was heading over there.... shows you don't read my blog. :) Dan - I got the receipt, but it wasn't necessary. Fuji US should be giving your $ back. Check your credit card statement for a reimbursement. Yes, there is still dust in the viewfinder. Lots of dust, actually. But it could be newly accumlated from the trip to HK. I realize that my psorisis makes it more "dusty". Still sick, trying to cough my lungs out, without much success. Trying to get back into the routine of working, and working out at the gym. JOY Tuesday, February 18
yeah, enjoy the soft puck while you can. real pucks are a pain to handle, but maybe thats cuz im used to playing with a roller hockey ball. if checking is allowed, go for it. one of my moments of glory while playing in the intramural ice hockey league at u of i was when this guy skated in to hit me and i bent down at the last second and flipped him over my back. it was fun, and a perfectly legal hit too :) Eric, what do you mean by not successful, as in your viewfinder still has dust? btw did you ever get the email with the receipt images?
Wow, I didn't even know you were going to HK Eric! How is/was it (you still over there?) All I know is the other cousins are unrecognizably big now. I haven't checked the cousin check in sooo long. Well, nothing new is with me. Still working every day. Well, except today, I took half a day off yay. Hm, what else. I'm learning to ice skate and playing beginner's hockey with a soft puck. I hope to graduate to hard puck in about... a year. I'm still learning to go backwards. Any tips Dan?
Hi all, haven't checked this page since last I posted until now. Duh. I got the receipt. Fuji US should give you a 'credit' refund for you $80 fee of cleaning the viewfinder (not successful BTW). I wore a jacket indoors, and when I slept on the sofas at 9G, I caught a cold the very next day. I don't know how Dad could do it, but I spent one night outside, and I was sick. Booness! Ah well, I'm still coughing/phleming/boogering, just thought you'd like to know. Friday, February 14

wowzers, hong kong dont gots heaters or something?? being cold indoors sucks. anyway, Eric did you ever get the pictures of the receipts? Tuesday, February 4
yep. 12 degrees (53F) doesn't SOUND all that cold but keeping in mind that it's not much warmer indoors makes a big difference. sure made it hard to get out of bed at 5:30 in the morning. i remember having to wear my winter jacket indoors on those really cold nights (around 8 degrees). but i guess that doesn't seem all that bad, given my "winter jacket" is the same one i wear now in october... Monday, February 3
cold is like... 12-15 degrees HK. But it's very cold, b/c it's a nice stiff breeze from the ocean. I'm sure Justin can attest to how cold 12 degrees it can be in the mornings... surprisingly, my thick Canadian blood can take it, but my umm.... Hong Kong Feet (not the medical kind) is bloody icy!
wowzers. how cold is "cold"? its in the 20's and 30's here (ºF) and boy does it feel warm. anyway, not a whole lot going on on my end, in case anyone wonders. Lawrence, are you coming back to town anytime soon? Saturday, February 1
