I am not liking my lunch, it's totally not sitting well in my stomach.

It was just two sandwiches of flax bread and lean chicken breast deli slices. No condiments, no lettice, no tomatoes, nudda. All washed down with water. Fun.

Actually, I'm not a stickler for great food, as long as it stays down and it's cheap.

This weekend was pretty fun, went to the Chinese outdoors night market Saturday night, while spending a good part of Sunday at the Yonge St. festival. One thing is certain, Canadians do not know how to throw a party or make cash in the process.

The atmosphere at the Chinese market was akin to Chinese New Years. Packed with vendors and food, a huge throng of people gathered to take in all the sights and experiences. In contrast, the Yonge st. festival, though much larger in terms of location (There were at least 4 main intersection which were cordoned off for the festivities), didn't have nearly the impact. There were hardly any outdoor booths to buy anything, and the biggest outdoor food stand was a hot dog joint with a tent overtop. Hardly impressive.

It wasn't even packed, and this was at the heart of downtown for crying out loud. We're talking Yonge and Dundas, with the newly cleared out Dundas Square or whatever it's called. While I wouldn't go nearly as far to call it pathetic, it was nonetheless a letdown.

Well, at least Eaton Centre was opened for some window shopping, and the weather was perfect.
