ok, i decided not to go down because a) i went skiing this past weekend and that was a lot of money; b) i have a lot of food in the refrigerator i need to eat up; c) i should do some of the school work that i've been putting off way too long; d) i'm dogsitting/apartmentsitting for some friends so i should probably be there. oh well. anyone for skiing on 01/07/03?

1/30-31 ill be working. are you coming down? ivan will be around during the day most likely, and i can try to take off work a bit earlier. let me know.

btw, checked the calendar... according to calculations the camera should be mailed back within a week. lets just hope i dont get shafted again somehow.

We don't have anything concretely planned on 30-31 afternoon, but we'll probably go out as a family, I don't know. Why? And on 31 night I'm going out with friends overnight. Dug.

eric, it's 12/27. (you're right.) at least write them an email or something. i sent them a sort of last minute gift from amazon... i was waiting for a stinkin' free rebate to come in so my gift will be a few weeks late anyway. i'm so excited: i get to go skiing tomorrow. i hope it's good weather... and that i won't fall asleep on the slope from working the night before or at work from skiing the whole day. better stock up on that sleep now...

had the pleasure of having dinner with Justin last night. only saw him for about an hour or so at best, but hey better than nothing.

duh Lawrence, youre home already?? i was planning on watch Two Towers tonight by myself tonight but i guess if youre in town i can scratch that plan. im working today so i wont be off til 6. duh why am i even posting this? its not like youll check it before then. ill just give you a call during lunch break. booooooooooooooo

dang, still have yet to see that. shouldnt have promised my friend id watch it with him saturday. now i gotta wait... heck, if i didnt have to work i wouldve considered springing for the midnight showing on tuesday! so i was confused about your blog entry about that... so did you like it or no?? ok so i guess im slow... its close to 1am and my mind is shot. good night.

Fuji service does seem to suck. Let's cross fingers and hope everything's smooth sailing from here.

Eric: just got off the phone with fuji, everything is taken care of. they gave me a 2 week estimate for the repair, so it should reach you well before the end of january. lets hope theres no more complications eh?

ugh... fuji products are great and all, but i dont think ill ever be buying any. their customer service is a joke :(

i finally figured out why theyre taking so long. they claim to have never received my approval for the repairs. ive never gotten mail lost before (either going to or coming from me) so i cant bring myself to believe that was the case this time. im willing to bet some bozo at fuji misplaced it or threw it out by accident. boy are they gonna hear from me... update to come.

Eric, im willing to mail you my camera IF in the unlikely case i cant get yours back by end of january, just so you'd at least have a camera to use (even if its a lowly Sony DSC-P50). hopefully you wont be needing to make poster prints of any of your pictures so 2.1MP should hopefully suffice. of course im hoping it wont come to this (as do you, im sure), but justin case. any and all shipping charges will be paid by me, of course.

Lawrence: i have no idea what the scaffolding on the tower is for... supposedly all repairs/maintenance on the tower's lean has been completed as of last year, so i dont know why they still had scaffolding up, especially near the top. as for m&s, when are you free? i should be available to go on any given week night, so just let me know. M-Th 10pm-midnight, Fri-Sat 11pm-1am

Larry, yeah. I'll eventually be visiting. But prolly not until summer. I'mgoing back to HK and then Tokyo Jan 29 until Feb 15th.

I _really_ hope the damn camera will be fixed b4 then. :) NO pressure to you Dan, just to FujiFilm.

duh, back home again. with the subfreezing temperatures i was hit with upon setting foot outside the airport, its hard to believe i was in venice just yesterday. weird.

oh well, time to eat, then off to bed i go, eventually.
